Raw sheep wool was used for its production, hand-dyed exclusively with natural dyes: marigold, campeche wood, tansy, goldenrod, avocado, and oak bark. The piece may have a tendency to fade or change its shade over time. This allows the kilim to gradually mature alongside its owner, accompanying them throughout their life.<\/p>\n<h5>Kilim is a very long-lived kind of textile, which can last dozens and even hundreds years with the proper care.<\/h5>\n<p>Metal rings have been sewn into the kilim, making it ready to hang on the wall. The colors and details of the kilim may vary slightly from those shown in the photo.
