The whole process of making it took about thirty hours of craftsman work. It\u2019s made out of raw wool, dyed with only natural dyes: madder root, tansy, logwood and oak bark. They sometimes tend to fade or change their shade as the time goes by. That feature is an opportunity for a kilim to age with its owner and to be present in all his life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Kilim is a very long-lived kind of textile, which can last dozens and even hundreds years with the proper care.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Every design is made only once and won\u2019t be ever repeated. The kilim is signed; bear a serial number and names of designer and maker.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Metal rings have been sewn into the kilim, making it ready to hang on the wall. The colors and details of the kilim may vary slightly from those shown in the photo.
