Kamila Mróz
An artist working with glass and light-based objects. She specializes in neon and Plasma Art, merging traditional craftsmanship with experimental physics. A graduate of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, where she earned her doctorate in 2023. Her work explores plasma discharges in noble gases, using light as an artistic medium. She is particularly drawn to the interaction between object and viewer—the electric connection that forms where glass meets human touch. As the only artist in Poland working with Plasma Art, she masters the demanding craft of shaping glass in an open flame.
My work balances on the edge of light and matter. I transform glass into a "living tissue" filled with emotions and meaning. I see this material as a "skin" connecting the external world with the internal one—glass becomes both a barrier and a medium that filters emotions, allows them to flow, yet simultaneously conceals their intimacy.
