Neocrystalls is an upcycling project. This series of crystal objects speaks of the time passing. Each vase is unique and has a different story. Transforming old crystals gives them new form and new life. They will look very interesting in any interior, they can be used as vases, but foremost they are sculptures.
"The project started after my grandmother passed away in 2023. I inherited a damaged crystal vase from her. I didn't want to throw it away and decided to fuse in the kiln. This is how I started looking for old crystals to melt them using the slumping technique. By giving them a new shape, I leave traces of grinding and additionally I do sandblasting on them. The matt glass objects look like ghosts of previous crystal vessels, stretched by time."
