This tray was designed by Jakub Przyborowski specifically for the SĀR “Back to the Roots” collection Back to the Roots inspired by contemporary Indian furniture.
Its clean, minimalist form emphasizes durability and everyday functionality. The only decorative detail—the exposed dowel joints—adds visual interest while also strengthening the construction. The tray is finished with a hard wax oil, enhancing its natural beauty and resilience.
Exhibited at the 'Full New Moon' exhibition at the Institute of Industrial Design until September 30. Shipping / pickup available after the exhibition ends.
Technique
handmade
A carpenter by calling. He learned his profession at work in various workshops from more experienced ones. Then he made custom furniture in own studio for several years. Currently one of the teachers at the Wood Workshop. Jacob is focused on improving his skills, perfecting techniques and acquiring knowledge on wood. He produces original carpentry designs - furniture, small utility and artistic objects.
