The organic shape resembles extinct or fictional species of underwater plants. Each work, like each plant, is unique. Hand-made work requires a lot of precision and a good feeling for the material.
The object is part of the KUNSTKAMERA collection. Under this name there are collections of curiosities popular in the 16th and 17th centuries, which are a sign of admiration for the magnificence of the natural world.
Execution technique
First, small elements are created, which are then joined together so that they touch the base in at least two places. Hand made object from dark stoneware clay partially covered with white glaze. Each Sea Anemone vase is signed unique.
A graduate of the ceramics department of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Uniwersity of Fine Arts in Poznań. She gained practical knowledge in ceramics workshops in Great Britain, France, Denmark, and South Korea. A lecturer at the School of Form. Co-founder of the August Design Studio. In her works she deals with the topics of time and tradition. She is interested in traditional techniques and their impact on the modern human environment. She was a participant of many Polish and international exhibitions.
