Nie/pokój exhibition

The exhibition not/room presents interior objects designed and crafted by contemporary Polish artisans.

Contemporary artisans explore the properties of materials, experiment, adopt innovative techniques, or create their own methods. This process requires time, is labor-intensive, and often challenging. Many trials are needed to achieve the desired effect. All of this is underlined by a concern for the outcome of this demanding work, as well as for its reception. Will anyone appreciate the experimentation with materials and the search for unconventional forms? Will audiences recognize the value of craftsmanship and be willing to pay for it? For whom and for what purpose do we create?
