Beata Wietrzyńska is a psychologist and a master weaver. In her work, she redefines the role of handloom-woven textiles in interiors, providing them with a contemporary context. She studied her craft at the Centre Européen pour la Promotion des Arts in Luxembourg and under Polish folk weavers. Since 2014, she has been creating textiles for the Magda Butrym brand. Her original collection of shawls won the must have 2023 award (Łódź Design Festival). Awarded the title of Master of Art Crafts by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, she is a member of the European Textile Network. Her works, which combine traditional craftsmanship with modern design, are held in the collection of the National Museum in Warsaw.
