Projekt Pracownie
It is an initiative of people who share a fascination with the craft, the people who practice it, and the spaces of production and artistic workshops. A team of photographers led by Małgorzata Herman - the author of interviews and texts appearing on the portal - presents phenomenal studios hidden in urban nooks and crannies. However, the Workshops project is not limited to creating a website about crafts. Małgorzata is actively involved in activities promoting Polish crafts and is the author of articles and publications about the return to traditional manufacturing techniques.
We want to show how diverse the phenomenon of new craftsmanship is. We believe that the stories of craftsmen published on the portal will encourage readers to discuss and draw their attention to the human face of the purchased items.
Projekt Pracownie is an independent portal with a journalistic focus. The group covers media patronage of selected crafts-related events. It also establishes cooperation with other magazines and publications in taking photos and creating texts on crafts.
