The piece is made of smaller elements, to join them requires many hours of work and very high precision. Making it was a craft challenge. At the same time, it gave rise to a series of completely new, slightly crazy objects. Now it is the most valuable, most unusual part of the KUNSTKAMERA peculiarities collection.
The dish can be used as a fruit or snack plate, although it is best viewed upside down. Then you can see it in all its glory. The work is signed and unique.
The vessel can serve as a platter for fruit or treats, although it is best viewed upside down. That way, it can be seen in all its splendor. The intricate design of the piece is fully appreciated when it is not in use.
The object is part of the KUNSTKAMERA collection. Under this name there are collections of curiosities popular in the 16th and 17th centuries, which are a sign of admiration for the magnificence of the natural world.
Technique
A graduate of the ceramics department of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Uniwersity of Fine Arts in Poznań. She gained practical knowledge in ceramics workshops in Great Britain, France, Denmark, and South Korea. A lecturer at the School of Form. Co-founder of the August Design Studio. In her works she deals with the topics of time and tradition. She is interested in traditional techniques and their impact on the modern human environment. She was a participant of many Polish and international exhibitions.
